HEC Scholarships for AJK Students

Government of AJK announces State Talent Scholarships to students of AJK. Students attending any Government or private institution of education in AJK who took part in the exams for 2024 can apply for the award.

Eligibility Criteria to Apply Online

• Students who took the 2022 exams
• Primary, Middle, or Elementary class 90% marksMatric Board Exams 85% marks
• Inter Board Exams 80% marks
• BA/BSc, MA/MSc, MS or Ph.D. 70% marks
• Students admitted to the program must score a minimum of 60% marks in their exams for the continuity of the scholarship
• Degrees/certificates of those providing misleading/false information will be confiscated.
• Only regular candidates are eligible to apply for the scholarship
• Government Employees and those enrolled in a weekend class program, Distance learning, or private candidates are not eligible to apply
• Students are required to attach the result cards with the attested application form
• Students enrolled in professional courses are required to submit the results of two semesters of 2022 latest by April 30, 2024.

How to Apply for AJK State Talent Scholarship 2024?

• You can download the application forms from the national bank website www.nb.gok.pk
• PKR 100/- must be deposited to account number 0109000232321573, United Bank of Chhattar, 2 Mile Branch Muzaffarabad. Attach the receipt of the deposited amount to your application form.
• The head of the institute will receive the attested application forms and the cover letter.
• Attached with the application form are copies of the Certificates of citizenship of the State Class-I, Passport-size picture, Result card, and CNIC/B-form.
• The last day to receive your application through Post is February 28, 2024
• All applications must be submitted with a recommendation from the head of the institute. All applications received after this date will not be considered.

Merit Formula for AJK State Talent Scholarship 2024

Higher Education Department of AJK is the one that oversees the current AJK State Talent Scholarship 2024. The department has developed an award formula based on merit to be able to award scholarships.

AJK State Talent Scholarship Merit List 2024

The Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir will be launching the State Talent Scholarship 2024 for the gifted students of Azad Kashmir and Jammu Kashmir. AJK State Talent Scholarship 2024 is open to AJK students from the state of Kashmir who are enrolled at public and private schools, colleges and universities. Instructions for Applicants

1. If the application is complete, it will be accepted immediately.
2. Before the last date, applicants should reach Secretariat Higher Education, Block-10 Secretariat Complex Chhattar  Mile Muzaffarabad.
3. Late applications will be refused.
4. Only students of AJK state can apply who are enrolled for the 2024 academic session. The applicants must have obtained admission at a state-run institute or an HEC recognised university.
5. Only those candidates with at least 50 percent marks in their most recent examination.
6. Applications that are incomplete or late are not accepted.
7. Candidate is declared ineligible for providing false information or altering the certifications.
8. The authenticity of the certificates and residence are subject to verification by the relevant authorities . Stringent legal sanctions will be imposed on those who provide false documents.
9. Students who already have the scholarship through another source are not eligible to apply.
10. The application of any other subject other than those listed above will be taken into consideration.
11. Students who were granted an award of scholarship in the previous year are not required to apply for it again. The stipend they receive will be renewed upon receiving of the progress report from their respective institutions of education on a properly certified renewal forms.
12. Applications submitted prior to the publication of this advertisement are not considered.
13. The application form and instructions are accessible on the official site of KA & GB i.e www.kana.gov.pk. The applicants are required to meet the criteria stated on the second page of the application form for scholarships.
