Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif New Laptop Scheme for Matric 10th Students Eligibility Online Apply Forms
While continuing the mission of improving the educational facilities for students in the province, the Punjab government has now announced that it will be distributing free laptops among the talented students who will score 78% or more marks in matriculation. The Chief Minister of Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif has announced that free laptops among the matric class students of government schools will be distributed in the third phase of the scheme. This announcement was made by CM Punjab while talking to a conference conducted for analyzing the unavailable facilities in government schools and for this purpose, a budget of over Rs. 7.5 billion has been allocated.

While talking to media, the Education Minister Punjab, Rana Mashood Ahemed Khan said that after successfully distributing free laptops among the students of colleges and universities in past years, the Punjab government has now decided to award laptops on merit basis to the students of matric 10th class who will score over 78% marks in the annual examination.
He also said that in past, around 2.5 million new students are granted admission in government schools every year but this year, over 4 million students have got admission which clearly shows that parents are satisfied with the improvements being made to uplift the educational standards of the schools.
The process of laptop distribution will began within next few days and the application forms, eligibility criteria and other details related to it will be announced soon.
