IBA Sindh Talent Hunt Scholarship

The IBA-CDP Sindh Talent Hunt Program (IBA-CDP STHP) is a fully-funded orientation training program jointly funded with the help of the Community Development Program, Planning and Development Board, Government of Sindh, and IBA Karachi, which selects, trains. It prepares gifted students from Sindh to participate in the admission process to BBA or BS degree programs at IBA Karachi. The program is founded on merit, need, and assessment. The orientation program focuses on academic and personal development and grooming. It also provides the necessary skills for higher education.

Program Outline

1. Candidates who have followed the appropriate selection process within the program and who have expressed interest in studying advanced education that is in Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting & Finance, Economics & Mathematics, and Social Sciences & Liberal Arts are invited to take part in the two-month training program within IBA Karachi for preparation of admission to BBA or BS degrees.

2. The students selected for the orientation program will receive instruction accommodation, boarding, lodging, Study materials, and a stipend at no cost.

3. Training in the following subjects and abilities will be offered during orientation.

• English Grammar & Composition
• Mathematics
• Presentation & Communication

4. The orientation course will be led by selected IBA instructors, mentors, or other teachers who’ve shown their skills in their respective fields.

5. Following orientation completion, all trainees must take the IBA aptitude tests for BBA and BS degree programs.

6. Candidates selected by merit and given admission to BBA, BS (Accounting & Finance), BS (Social Sciences & Liberal Arts), BS (Computer Sciences), and BS (Economics & Mathematics) degree programs can be considered for up to 100% of the scholarship awarded to the four-year degree programs based on ‘Need-cummerit’ based on the recommendation of the IBA-Financial Aid Committee, with the assistance by Sindh Endowment Fund scholarship- GoS.

7. Students covered by the IBA-CDP STHP’s program must keep a CGPA of 2.5 or above to be eligible for their facilities. If their scores are below the required level, they are placed on probation if another chance of improvement in their grades during the next semester comes up. If they do not improve their marks, facilities can be withheld or withdrawn on a case-by-case basis.
