Academic Excellence Award 2024 Received by Ibrahim Hassan Murad-President of UMT

APSUP, the Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan, celebrated a ceremony in honor of Mr. Ibrahim Hassan Murad, the president of the University of Management and Technology UMT. That ceremony was held for the Academic Excellence Award 2024 upon UMT president. The Punjab governor Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman presented the award in that ceremony. That ceremony was for Pakistan’s heroes on the 75th independence day. So in that ceremony, the passion of true stars of Pakistan was appreciated. Mr.Ibrabim Hassan Murad got the Academic Excellence Award 2024 From the UMT president for his commitment to promoting education as he led the UMT towards betterment in many international rankings like the Impact Ranking and QS Ranking. The Academic Excellence Award 2024 upon UMT president ceremony also took a look at the commitment to developing the youth of Pakistan.

Ibrahim Receives Academic Excellence Award 2024

On Wednesday, the Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan awarded UMT President Ibrahim Hasan Murad received the Academic Excellence Award 2024. At the ceremony to honor the heroes of Pakistan, Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman, Punjab Governor, presented the award. APSUP organized the ceremony to recognize the true stars of Pakistan who have made a mark in Impact Ranking or QS Ranking.
The award was given to Mr. Murad in recognition of his dedication to education and academia and for leading UMT toward improvement in several International rankings, including the QS Ranking and THE Impact Ranking.

The organizers noted Mr. Murad’s dedication to the development of Pakistani youth through research at UMT and academic excellence at UMT. They also said UMT’s employee-centric policies led to this university being nominated for the Workplace of the Year Award 2020.

UMT Celebrates 32 Years of Service Scholarship and Leadership

The UMT President Ibrahim Hasan Murad, Director General UMT Abid H.K Sherwani, and Rector UMT Dr. Asif Rasa attended the event. Chief Advisor to President Research and Academic Excellence, Dr. Mujahid Kazran, was also present. Director Special Projects UMT Zahid Warriach, joined by Deans, Directors, and Heads of University Management Offices.

Address of Ibrahim Hasan Murad at the Ceremony

Ibrahim Hasan Murad addressed the attendants and said that Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad Shaheed (Shaheed) embarked on a journey to enlightenment 32 years ago. UMT was born out of the patriotism and faith of Dr. Hasan. It is a unique institution and a symbol of excellence in higher education. UMT has been ranked among the top universities worldwide because of its holistic education. It has also remained true to its motto, transforming students into leaders.
