Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF)
The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) is a government initiative in Punjab, that provides scholarships to talented and needy students, ensuring equal opportunities for quality education. With over 150,000 scholarships awarded since its inception, totaling Rs. 16 billion, PEEF continues to support students across all districts of Punjab. PEEF Scholarship Levels
Punjab PEEF scholarships are awarded for the following four (4) levels of education. The level-wise allocation of the scholarship is given below:
- Intermediate 50%
- Graduation 50%
- The special quota has also been allocated to other provinces/areas
Application Process of PEEF Scholarship 2024

PEEF Special Quota Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Domicile holder of Punjab Province
- Minimum 60% marks in Intermediate or Matric in annual exam 2023Â conducted by BISE or Federal Board
- Only students enrolled in Government or Private Institutions located in the territory of Punjab Province are eligible to apply
- The total monthly income of the parents should be less than 60,000/- per month
- Children of Grade1-4 Government employees are exempted from the income condition
- Children of civilians martyred in Terrorist attacks are also exempted from the income condition
- The candidate should be enrolled as a regular student in an institute for an Intermediate or Bachelor level degree
Special Quota PEEF Scholarship 2024
20% of all of PEEF’s scholarships are under the Special Quota (SQ) category. Students who have passed matric or inter exams in 2023 and belong to one of the following categories can apply for the PEEF Special Quota Scholarship 2024.
- Orphans
- Children of government servants in BPS 1 – 4 (children of both serving and retired Govt. servants are eligible)
- Children belonging to a minority religion
- Special Children
- Children of Civilians martyred in Terrorist Attacks

Process for Intermediate and Graduate Level Scholarship Awards
- A newspaper advertisement is published, and students are encouraged to submit their applications online before the deadline of 31 January 2024.
- Applications are examined, and those who qualify are shortlisted for the various districts, categories, and gender-specific scholarships.
- The residents of the students who have been shortlisted for scholarships are issued notification letters and scholarship application forms.
- Students who are selected complete and submit scholarship application forms to PEEF.
- Every form that is received is examined and checked.
- To award scholarships, merit lists are created by district, category, and gender.
- The individual educational institutions where PEEF scholars are now enrolled administer scholarship awards.
