Established in 1961, by the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Peshawar is responsible for managing and controlling the matters of intermediate education within the areas that fall under its jurisdiction. At the tome of its establishment, the whole province used to lie within its jurisdiction but due to issues related to controlling such a vast area, the board was later split into further 3 boards. The current jurisdiction of BISE Peshawar board includes Peshawar, Chitral and Charsadda district along with Federally Administered Tribal Areas.

Like always, the BISE Peshawar board will conduct the annual examination of intermediate 11th and 12th class under its supervision. For this purpose, the board has already completed the candidates registration process and date sheet has also been announced. According to the date sheet released by the authorized department of the board, the intermediate FA, ICS and FSc annual examination 2024 will begin from April and will continue till May. While the practical examinations of different subjects will start from May onwards.

As the annual intermediate part 1 and 2 examination 2024 are going to start from April so as always, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Peshawar will be issuing the roll no. slips to all registered candidates a few days before the start of exams.
