ABOUT ISSB TEST

The Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) is a prestigious commission in Pakistan responsible for selecting candidates for the Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Air Force, and Pak Army. It conducts the ISSB Test, a rigorous and comprehensive evaluation that assesses candidates’ physical, mental, cognitive, moral, and social abilities to determine their suitability for defense positions.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Eligibility criteria for the Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) are stringent and must be met to gain admission. The requirements include:

  • Age:
    • Intermediate: 17-22 years
    • Graduate: 17-23 years
    • Graduates with an honor degree: 17-24 years
    • Serving army soldier: 17-25 years
  • Gender:
    • Must be an unmarried male
  • Nationality:
    • Must be Pakistani
  • Physical Standards:
    • Minimum Height: 5′- 4″ (162.5cm)
    • Weight: As per the Body Mass Index (BMI)
  • Education:
    • F.A/ F.Sc with 60% marks

Candidates failing to meet these requirements will not be granted admission to ISSB.

153 PMA L/C Course Test Dates: June-October 2024
LCC- 24 Course:  August 2024
TCC-36 Course: July-August 2024

Navy Courses Test Dates:

PN LCC: August 2024

Air Force PAF Courses Test Dates

Air Force PAF Courses: November-December 2024
PAF LCC: December 2024

The Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) conducts a comprehensive five-day examination at various ISSB centers. The selection process includes psychological and aptitude evaluations over these five days, and the schedule is as follows:

THIRD DAY (GROUP TESTING)

EXAM CENTRES

ISSB exam centers are located across provinces, with primary centers in Kohat, Gujranwala, Quetta, and Malir. Candidates are summoned to their respective centers, such as Malir Cant for candidates from Sindh.
