• Age: Between 17 to 21 years

• Qualification: Applicant should have scored 60% or above marks in BA/ BSc, BS, BA/ BSc (Hons), and BBA/ BPA, with 50% marks in FA/ FSc/ Equivalent are eligible for this course.

Education: FSc {Pre Engineering) – Physics, Mathematics. Chemistry or Computer Studies / Computer Sciences with at least 65 percent marks or an O’level passed (English being a requirement) for five different subjects and an ‘A grade passed in Physics, Mathematics, as well as Chemistry I Computer Studies I Computer Sciences from Grade A to C.”

• Candidates with qualifications such as O’level and ‘A level, etc. must obtain the Equivalence Certificate and the conversion of marks from the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (JBCC), Ministry of Education, Islamabad and attach it to the application form as well as an ‘A’-level passing marks in Mathematics. The subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Computer Studies I Computer Sciences are essentially in grades A-C.
• Candidates who have successfully passed an FSc Part-I Examination with a minimum of 65 percent marks and who are preparing for the FSc Part-II/Final Examination may also apply on “HOPE Certificates” duly issued by the head of the institute. Candidates need to submit their FSc Part-II roll number as well as the name of the Education Board along with a photocopy of their roll no form at GHQ, PA Directorate (PA-3b), Rawalpindi. FSc mark sheets or final results are due within one week after an announcement of FSc Board results, otherwise, the candidates are not considered for the final merit assessment.
• Candidates who have completed FSc with a major in Computer Sciences can apply for Computer Software Engineering only.
