Important Dates To Remember:
- The last date for ONLINE tokens, data entry, and generation of Admit Cards is:Â 29 February 2024.
- Orientation Session Date and Time: 8th, 9th March 2024
- Entrance Test Date:Â 11 to 15 March 2024
- Declaration of Result:Â March 22, 2024.
As per the Government of Punjab’s directive, the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has been conducting the Combined Entrance Test for admission to Public Sector Engineering and Technology institutions in Punjab. This entrance test is mandatory for admission to undergraduate engineering/technology programs in public/private engineering institutions. This is the first entrance test of the year. The score obtained in this ECAT will be valid for admission to UET in Fall 2024.
A Combined Entrance Test for admission into the B.Sc. Engineering and B.Sc. Engineering Technology Programs in Punjab will be conducted in the Second week of March. Candidates will have the option to choose their test center, date, and time for both the Orientation Session and the Entrance Test. The details of the chosen center, date, and time will be printed on the candidate’s Admit Card.

Requirement at the Test Center during Entrance Test
- Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)/NICOP
- Juvenile Card issued by NADRA
- Matric/Intermediate certificate carrying a photograph
- Computerized domicile certificate bearing a photograph
- Passport
- Statement of Entry in case of “A” Level students
A Reminder:
- Failure to present a photo ID may result in expulsion from the Test Center.
- A candidate who misses the Entrance Test at the allotted center during the assigned time will not be permitted to take the exam again.
- Since the test is fully automated, no re-checking facility will be provided.
Orientation Session Date and Test Centers
To familiarize the candidates with the computer-based test, an orientation session of fifteen minutes will be held on Friday, 8th March 2024, and Saturday, 9th March 2024. This session will take place in one of the designated centers at the allotted time.

UET Combined Entrance Test Date 2024
The Entrance Test will be held from Monday through Friday (i.e., March 11, 2024, to March 15, 2024) in the above Centers at the allotted time.
How to Get a UET Entrance Test Token Number?
- The applicants have to log in to the admission portal, by purchasing a token for Rs.2,500/-.
- The token number can be obtained in two ways:
(a) through HBL online banking if you are an HBL account holder
(b) through HBL KONNECT if you are not an HBL account holder. - In either case, your challan number is the token number that remains valid until Thursday, February 29, 2024.
- Once logged in, access the admission portal to complete the application process.
- The last date to enter data and generate an Admit Card online is February 29, 2024.
- Admit Cards can be reprinted until the day of the test.
