Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS) offers need-based scholarships to students who demonstrate financial need and have the potential to excel academically. The scholarship is given to students who are pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in the fields of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, and allied health sciences. The scholarship deadline is usually in November for the spring semester and in May for the fall semester. Eligibility Criteria for LUMHS HEC Need Based Scholarship 2024

1. Nationality and Domicile:

• Pakistani national with permanent domicile in Pakistan.

2. Academic Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program at LUMHS.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.

3. Financial Need:

• Applicant must demonstrate significant financial need through:
  • Family income below the poverty line.
  • Evidence of financial hardship, such as medical expenses, unemployment, or natural disasters.

4. Other Criteria:

• Not receiving any other scholarship or financial assistance.
• No history of academic misconduct or disciplinary action.
• Active participation in extracurricular activities and community service.
