MOD Phases of Test 2024

In the MOD Test 2024, the selection process consists of several phases:

1- Screening :

The screening phase evaluates the candidates based on a wide range of subjects. The syllabus for this phase covers various topics, and the total marks allotted are 200. The previous year’s merit for the screening phase was 106 for Punjab candidates.

2- Descriptive :

For the Assistant Director position, the descriptive phase includes two papers: one on English Essay and the other on Current Affairs. For the Sub-Inspector position, there is a single paper covering English Precis and Current Affairs questions. This phase assesses the candidates’ writing skills and knowledge of current affairs.

3- Psychometric:

The psychometric phase is a crucial part of the recruitment process. It spans over four days, similar to the ISSB (Inter Services Selection Board) test. The objective of this phase is to evaluate the psychological traits and suitability of the candidates for the respective positions.

4-interview :

The interview phase involves a panel of eight members who assess the candidates. The duration of the interview varies from person to person but typically lasts around 40 to 50 minutes. The interview panel evaluates the candidates’ knowledge, communication skills, personality, and suitability for the desired role.
