Established in 1974, Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad is Asia’s first university that offers distance education in philosophy and natural science. AIOU offers admissions to Matric, Bachelor, and Master levels.

According to the academic program, the spring semester admissions are open from February to March. The autumn semester admissions open from August through September. The university has two semesters each year, with Spring-Autumn being the modified version. Prospectus and forms for admission can be obtained at the main campus of the University, 44 Regional Campuses, and more than 100 Coordinating Offices throughout the country.

AIOU Merit List 2024 Spring Fall Admission

Officials from the institute conduct an entry test at prospective campuses across the country. After clearing the entrance exam, the university release result of examinations. After the announcement of their results, the university will soon publish the Merit list for selected candidates. The selection of candidates is based on an open Merit system.
