Pakistan Railways Retired Staff Jobs 2026 – 45 Vacancies, Eligibility

Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office Lahore, has invited applications from retired supervisory staff of its Carriage and Wagon and Mechanical Loco departments for engagement on a contract basis. The one-year contract, extendable by another year, covers 45 posts in grades BPS-06 to BPS-14. Only former railway employees who served in these categories and are physically fit can apply. The maximum age limit is 62 years.

The advertised posts include TXR, Foreman, Sub Engineer, Senior Chargeman, Mistry and skilled workers such as fitters, welders, coach builders, wiremen and diesel mechanics. Candidates will be called for an interview and a medical fitness examination at Pakistan Railways Hospital. No TA/DA will be paid. Applications must reach the Chief Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Empress Road, Lahore, by 15 October 2026, along with a Rs. 500 postal order as processing fee. How to Apply

There is no online application for these posts. Interested retired employees must send a typed application with their complete database to the Chief Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Empress Road, Lahore. The application must reach by 15 October 2026.

Attach attested copies of all educational certificates, computerized CNIC, railway retired identity card or experience certificate, PPO, LPC and service certificate. Include three fresh passport-size photographs and three postal envelopes (with RAD card) bearing the applicant’s complete address and cell number. Add a postal order of Rs. 500 as the processing fee. Applications without the processing fee will not be considered.

Physical Requirements
