How to Check Call Letter Online? (Step-by-Step)

The postal system can be slow. Use this method to confirm your date.

• Visit Official Website: Go to www.issb.gov.pk.
• Navigate to “Call System”: Click on the “Call Letter / Status” tab.
• Enter Identity Number: Type your CNIC (e.g., 3520212345678) without dashes.
• View Result: The system will show your exact Reporting Date and Center (Kohat/Gujranwala/Malir/Quetta).
• Download PDF: If the status is “Issued,” a “Print” button will appear. Save the PDF and print it. This printout is valid for entry.

Understanding Your Status Messages

What does the online system status mean?

“ISSUED” / “CALLED”: Congratulations! Your date is confirmed. Download the letter immediately.

“PENDING”: Your documents are being verified, or the batch is full. You will be scheduled in the next available slot (usually within 15-20 days).

“SHORTLISTED”: You passed the initial test, but dates haven’t been assigned to your batch yet.

“NOT RECOMMENDED”: Unfortunately, you did not meet the final merit list criteria based on academic/initial test scores. You will not receive a call.

“ABSENT”: You were called, but you did not report to the center on the given date.

Important Instructions for “Called” Candidates

No Change Policy: You cannot change your Test Center or Date.

COVID/Sickness: If you are seriously ill, Fax/Email your medical certificate to the specific ISSB center immediately to request a reschedule.

Missing Documents: If you lost your original Matric/Inter certificate, you MUST bring a “Receipt of Certificate Issuance” from your Board/University, verified by the Controller of Exams.

What is the ISSB Call Letter?
