NACTA Youth Internship Program 2024 Application Form

We are glad to inform the needy educated youth that a sublime employment opportunity in form of internship has been commenced by the NACTA. National Counter Terrorism Authority NACTA is an Internal Counter terrorism Authority of Pakistan. NACTA is mandated to devise a counter-terrorism strategy that should address short, medium and long-term goals and devise action plans for their implementation.Applications are invited for youth internship programme from fresh graduates/post-graduates(16 years of education) to join NACTA in the journey of curbing Terrorism and extremism.

Under the NACTA Act, the National Counter Terrorism Authority is to be governed by a Board of Governors. The Prime Minister of Pakistan is the Chairman of NACTA Board of Governor while Defense, Interior, Foreign, Finance, Law and Justice Ministers and one member each of Senate and National Assembly, Chief Ministers of all four Provinces, Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Secretary Interior, DG FIA and Chiefs of Intelligence Agencies, Provincial Chief secretaries and Police Chiefs are Members of NACTA’s BOG.

Functions of NACTA includes to receive and collate data or information or intelligence, and disseminate and coordinate between all relevant stakeholders to formulate threat assessments with periodical reviews to be presented to the Federal Government for making adequate and timely efforts to counter terrorism and extremism.
NACTA also coordinate and prepare comprehensive National counter terrorism and counter extremism strategies, and reviews them on periodical basis and to develop action plans against terrorism and extremism and report to the Federal Government about implementation of these plans, on periodical basis.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Master’s Degree from the University within Country or abroad,duly recognized by HEC.
• Duration of internship will be for one year.
• Stipend will be Rs.20,000 per month.
• The candidates selected for internship shall not have any right of regular appointment in NACTA against any post.

Procedure to Apply:

The intrested and eligible candidates may Apply to P.O.Box No.1981,GPO Islamabad on the prescribed performa which can be downloaded from the website www.nacta.gov.pk latest by 28th February,2019. All necessary documents are to be attached with the application form.No application will be entertained after the last date.
