Eligibility Criteria for PN Cadet:

Pakistani males who are not married. Maximum age: 28 years. Maximum height: 162.5 centimeters (5′-4″). BE Electrical/Electronics for Operations and Weapon Engineering Branch of Submarine Service.

  • Marital Status: Unmarried
  • Gender: Male
  • Age: 16 to 21 Years for Civilian and 17 to 23 Years for serving candidates
  • Height: 5? 4? (Minimum)
  • Education: Applying candidates must have clear their Intermediate level education from any board of Intermediate and Secondary Education but the Intermediate education must be in any of these following subjects
  • Physics, Maths, and Chemistry
  • Physics, Maths and Computer Science
  • Physics, Maths, and Statistics
  • Candidates of A-Level should submit an equivalence Certificate
  • F.Sc Part-II appearing candidates with at least 60% marks in Part-I are eligible. However, they have to provide a hope certificate

Pak Navy PN Cadet Selection Procedure

Candidates can apply online by visiting the website   After registering you have to give the intelligence test, entrance test, and academic tests. Call letters will be issued to those candidates who qualify for the entrance test, preliminary medical, and interview. Registered candidates must bring postal order of Rs. 200-/ (crossed in the name of Director of Recruitment NHQ Islamabad) or cash in lieu of postal order on the day of entrance test.

Training Scheme

The Pakistan Naval Academy is the cradle for cadets. It prepares them professionally, morally, and educationally. The development of personality traits results in competent Naval Officers with high ideals of loyalty and honor, as well as courage, dedication, and courage. The cadets leave PNA after 1 1/2 years and are promoted to midshipmen. They live onboard and work in various areas. The midshipmen are appointed Sub-Lieutenants after completing six months of training at sea. Training will include free Messing, Accommodation, and uniforms.

  • The following are not eligible:
  • Twice rejected ISSB/GHQ/AHQ Selection Board.
  • Twice screened at ISSB
  • PUF by AMB (permanently designated UNFIT by Appeal Medical Board)
  • Must be tested within four months (120 days) of the last appearance (for candidates not recommended).
  • Must be tested within the one-year validity period (as per ISSB/GHQ/AHQ selection board)
  • Withdrawn from any Academy/Training institution for Armed Forces on any Ground.
  • Retired from any bounded Armed Forces college/institution for disciplinary reasons.
  • Dismissed/removed/debarred from Govt Services, including Armed Forces.
  • Convicted by a Court of Law in an offense involving moral turpitude.
  • Hepatitis B&C has made you medically unfit (AMB can’t be requested)
  • Not cleared by Appeal Medical Board, declared unfit by Armed Forces Hospitals.
  • Candidates who conceal, falsify or alter their academic records to gain undue advantages will have their candidature canceled.
  • Married to a Foreign National.

  3. Candidates who claim antedate seniority need to attach higher qualification and experience certificates from the respective heads of recognized.
