ISSB Test Dates 2025 Schedule Updated

ISSB 5 Days Timetable Routine for Male/Female Candidates

The Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) is Pakistan’s official organization responsible for selecting candidates who wish to become commissioned officers in the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy, and Pakistan Air Force. It operates under the Joint Services Headquarters (JSHQ), Chaklala, Rawalpindi, and has main testing centers located in Kohat, Gujranwala, Malir (Karachi), and Quetta. The ISSB’s primary goal is to evaluate a candidate’s mental, physical, and emotional fitness, leadership ability, and overall personality to ensure they possess the qualities required to lead in the armed forces.

The ISSB test is a comprehensive assessment process spread over four to five days. On the first day, candidates report for registration, document verification, and briefing. The second day includes various psychological tests, such as verbal and non-verbal intelligence tests, along with personality assessments to gauge mental aptitude and behavior. The third day involves Group Testing Officer (GTO) tasks, including group discussions, planning exercises, and physical tasks like group and individual obstacles to evaluate teamwork, initiative, and leadership. On the fourth day, candidates appear for interviews and perform command tasks where they are tested as group leaders. The final day concludes with a board conference, where the assessors discuss each candidate’s performance and make final recommendations. Successful candidates are then nominated for training at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, the Pakistan Naval Academy (PNA) Karachi, or the Pakistan Air Force Academy (PAFA) Risalpur.

ISSB test dates for 2025 vary depending on the specific course and are scheduled throughout the year. You will be informed of your ISSB test date for your particular course only after passing the initial written test.
