In order to run a farm like the Hollands, a farmer must know many skills. He must be skilled in operating machines like tractors. At the same times, He must be skilful in raising livestock and tending them when sick. He should be an agriculturist who grows food on a larger scale.

I think Joel’s choice to live on the farmer house is a good one because the country life provides him the Joys of peaceful life independent life. He works in the lap of nature which in itself is a blessing of good.
