چاندنی چوک میں فقیر کی تقریر کا لب لباب یہ تھا۔ اے بھائی مسلمانو! خدا کے لیے میری بات سنو۔میں آفت کا مارا سات بچوں کا باپ ہوں۔ میں پردیسی ہوں، میں اپنے وطن واپس جانا چاہتا ہوں، ہائے میرا کوئی دوست نہیں۔ کوئی مجھے گھر نہیں پہنچاتا، میری مدد کرو۔
مصنف کو اس فقیر کا بھیک مانگنے کا طریقے خاص معلوم ہوا وہ اس شخص کو دیکھنے اور اس کے الفاظ سننے کے لئے رک گیا۔ مصنف نے فقیر کو بہت سے امور میں خود سے بہتر پایا۔ اس لیے بھی فقیر کا کوئی دوست نہیں تھا۔ اس کی صحت مصنف سے زیادہ اچھی تھی۔
مصنف کو اپنے دوست بھٹر بھڑیا سے یہ شکایت ہے کہ جب بھی آتے ہیں، بھونچال کی طرح آئینگے۔گولے کی طرح دروازہ کھولیں گے اور آندھی کی طرح داخل ہونگے۔ مصافحہ کے لیے ہاتھ کو اس گر مجوشی سے دباتے ہیں کہ درد ہونے لگتا ہے اور سب سے بڑھ کر یہ کہ جب جاتے ہیں مصنف کے تمام خیالات بھی ساتھ لے جاتے ہیں۔
