Pakistan Medical Commission registration for National Licensing Exam 2024 has been opened. Students, who want to enroll in NLE, are requested to create an account and start online registration. Now, the NLE medical and dental step-1 & step-2 registration (June Attempt) has been announced once again in April 2024. Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) is an organization to improve healthcare medical and dental education in Pakistan. PMC takes the examination of students through NLE, to evaluate their eligibility criteria for the license for medical practice in Pakistan. The NLE conducts exams twice a year. The result of the examination is valid for five years.

PMC NLE Exam Registration Online

The NLE is essential for national or foreign medical degree holders to start clinical practice in Pakistan. After completion of a medical degree, the students must have to pass NLE to get a medical license. The MBBS degree holder can apply for NLE exam registration simply by creating their account and filling out the online registration form. If you already have an account, then update your information in the online registration form and select your examination. You have to use your email and password same as your previous registration.

NLE Exam Eligibility Criteria

The national and foreign degree holders both are eligible for NLE. There is no limit to the chances to attempt the National Licensing Exam. The candidates must have 75% marks in their medical degree to appear in the exam. There is no condition imposed by NLE on gender, age, or domicile.

NLE Syllabus

The NLE exam has two major sections;

Theory Section

Skill-based Clinical Component

Theory Component

The theory component section consists of 200 MCQs to evaluate the approach of candidates in the knowledge. These MCQs are 30% from basic science and 70% from clinical sciences.

Clinical Component

The clinical component consists of The Clinical Skills Examination (CSE) which evaluates the basic clinical skills of medical practitioners. This exam is similar to Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).

Eligible Candidates list

The NLE publishes the list of candidates who filled up the registration form properly to provide all information required for examination and fulfill the eligibility criteria of NLE. The candidates can download and check their names on the list to find out whether they are eligible or not. All information entered in the online registration form must be accurate according to personal and educational documents, otherwise filling the incomplete form or providing inaccurate information will lead to ineligibility.

Roll no Slip PMC NLE Exam

The eligible candidates can download their roll no. slips after successful PMC NLE medical and dental step-1 & step-2 registration. You can download PMC NLE roll no. slip 2024 for MBBS and BDS programs. The roll no. slips can be downloaded through the NTS website. Follow the steps given below to download your roll no. slip:

• Login to NTS Web Portal
• Enter related information and download Admit Card.
• Print your Admit Card/Roll no. slip by printing the shortcut key.

PMC NLE Exam Test Schedule

The approved exams schedule has been issued by PMC for National Licensing Exam. The test schedule is designed by managing all other test dates because NLE is not only the exam under PMC. Mostly, the PMC NLE tests are held during the months of October-June. The candidates can check the test schedule of NLE after completing registration. The PMC is going to conduct the medical and dental examination of NLE on 1st June 2024.

PMC NLE Exam Results

The NLE results are available for the step-1 examination was conducted in November 2024. Furthermore, the PMC is conducting the NLE examination for medical and dental step-1 in June 2024. Merit List PMC NLE Exam

Check the candidate’s list who qualified in PMC for National Licensing Exam. The candidates, who pass the given 70% marks criteria in NLE, are further evaluated for the vacant seats. How to Create an Account PMC NLE Exam ?

• Open PMC NLE online registration form.
• Enter your name and your Father’s name.
• Select your Identification Type such as CNIC, NICOP, Foreign Passport, etc.
• Put Identification No. in the relevant field.
• Mention the issuance date of your CNIC/NICOP/Passport.
• Select your country code and enter your contact number.
• Select your graduation type as Pakistan or Foreign.
• Enter your Email address which will be used to log in every next time.
• Enter and confirm a password for you.
