MDCAT stands for the Medical College Admission Test. It is a compulsory test for those candidates who want to get admission to any medical college. It is designed to assess problem-solving, critical thinking, written analysis, and knowledge of scientific concepts and principles. MDCAT is conducted every year and it is arranged by the University of Health Science (UHS) Lahore.
The MDCAT will evaluate your knowledge of natural, behavioral, and social science concepts and principles as well as the problem-solving and critical thinking skills that are required in medical school. The MDCAT exam has four test sections:
- Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems
- Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems
- Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior
- Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills
