Karachi LG seats Results Not Yet Official
In important local government (LG) elections in 11 union committees (UCs) in the port city, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) won five seats and Jamaat-e-Islami won three. These votes will decide who will be the next mayor of Karachi. Under tight security, 11 UCs in Karachi held polls. The PPP is in charge of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, and the JI is in second place. The findings of the 11 UC may change this. Unofficial results show that JI won the chairmanships of UC-3 in Korangi and UC-6 in North Nazimabad. The JI candidate got 3,412 votes, while the PML-N candidate only got 2,544. With 2,500 votes, Faisal Naseem of JI won UC-6 in North Nazimabad. Hamid Shahid of the PPP came in second with 885 votes. With 3,009, 3,245, and 2682 votes, respectively, the PPP took UC-2 Baldia in Keamari District, UC-2 Bihar Colony in District South, and UC-2 Korangi.

PPP ECP Result Sindh
Before, the PPP said that the ECP was setting a bad example by having elections before the mayoral elections. The PPP wanted the ECP to agree to what they asked for, but the ECP said no. Even though there were a few reports of violence in different parts of the province, Sindh held polls for the last 63 local body seats in five divisions.
In Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Ghotki, Khairpur, and other towns, voting started at 8 am and went on nonstop until 5 pm. The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) gave voters who were already in the polling booths after the 5 p.m. limit more time to cast their votes. It’s important to note that polls couldn’t be held on the seats because of things like the deaths of some candidates.
38 seats spread out over 17 districts
There are 38 open spots spread out among 17 districts. Early and unconfirmed data show that the PPP took two of Hyderabad’s five LG seats. In the city’s election, one spot went to the PTI and one to an independent candidate. The decision for one UC has not been made public yet. In Hyderabad, votes were held for chairman and vice-chairmen, district council and general members, and a total of 38 seats in the city’s four electoral divisions. For the by-elections, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has set up 147 polling places in 17 districts. The Sindh police will guard the polling places. On Saturday, ballot boxes and other voting tools were sent to election places by the ECP offices.
