The registration for HEC LAT 2025 is entirely online. Candidates are required to visit the HEC Education Testing Council’s portal at etc.hec.gov.pk to create an account and fill out the application form. After filling in the required personal and academic details, candidates must generate a challan form through the system. The application fee must be paid via 1Link/1Bill invoice services through banks, ATMs, or online banking apps. Only after submitting the fee and completing the application process will the application be considered final. Incomplete or “SAVE” status applications will not be accepted.

Who Can Apply for the HEC Law Admission Test?

1. Students who have successfully passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or an equivalent examination.
2. Students awaiting the results of the final examination of HSSC or an equivalent qualification can also apply.
3. Any changes in the examination date will be communicated through the official HEC website: http://etc.hec.gov.pk. Applicants who complete the HEC online registration process will download their Roll Number Slips from the same website a week before the examination date.
4. Registered applicants will receive email/SMS notifications about the examination date, time, and venue. Valid email/mobile numbers must be provided during the online application process.
5. A printed Roll Number Slip and the original Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) are mandatory for entry into the Examination Centre.

Other Requirements/Conditions:

1. The test fee of Rs. 1800/- must be deposited through 1Link 1Bill invoice at participating Banks/ATMs/Internet Banking/Mobile Banking/Easypeise/JazzCash/Upesa.
2. After selecting the bill invoice payment option, open/sign into your mobile app, click on Bill payment or payment services, and enter the consumer number generated by the ETC portal. Once you see the details, proceed to pay the amount.
3. After depositing the fee through 1Link 1Bill Invoice, click on Verify Online Payment on the ETC Dashboard. Resolve any queries/complaints before the web registration portal closure.
4. The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
5. Handling beyond the registration deadline is denied by the system due to logistics/security reasons.
