Dear Taj,

I was shocked to learn from Pakistan Radio News that an accident involving a coach and bus had occurred on G.T Road near Muridke. 15 people died on the spot and 42 were seriously injured, hence were taken to different hospitals in Lahore. 30 of them are out of danger while 12 are in a serious condition.

I had not yet come out of the room when I heard the bell of the telephone. It was Rashid speaking from Muridke. He told me that an accident occurred not far from my residence in which many passengers died and a lot of them got severely injured. He also told me about you.

I felt relieved and came to my senses. I told this all to my parents as well. They all thanked God that He saved your life. I along with my father shall soon come to see you. May God bless you and save you from every evil.

Pay my compliments to uncle and aunt.

Yours sincerely,

X.Y.Z
