Sir,

I would be grateful if you kindly allow me a space in your widely-circulated and esteemed newspaper to express my views on the rising prices of petro-chemicals.

I wish to discuss the problems of the people, petrochemicals were already expensive in the country. A person having an income of a few thousand rupees a month could not drive. Moreover, petrochemicals are related to other sectors also. The rise in the price of petrochemicals results in the rise of prices of other things which are the necessities of common people. With the rise of the prices of petrochemicals, it is announced by the government that this rise will not affect the lives of common people. The government desires that there should not be any poor person in the country. In fact, it thinks that the people may die of hunger.

I hope that the government will take necessary steps to check and stop the rise in the prices of petrochemicals.

Through your respected newspaper, I want to express my concern about the rising prices of petrochemicals in our country.

Petrochemicals like petrol, diesel, and gas are already very expensive. Now, with further increase in prices, life is becoming very difficult for common people. Even a person with a small monthly income cannot afford fuel.

The rise in petrochemical prices also increases the prices of other basic items, like vegetables, transport fares, and daily groceries. The government says this price hike will not affect the public, but the truth is different. Poor and middle-class people suffer the most.

I request the government to take steps to control the rising prices and provide relief to the public.

I would like to draw the attention of the authorities through the columns of your esteemed newspaper towards the constant rise in petrochemical prices, which has now become a serious national issue.

Petrochemicals such as petrol, diesel, and natural gas play a key role in every sector of the economy. An increase in their prices affects not just transport, but also agriculture, industries, and the daily lives of ordinary citizens. As a result, the prices of essential goods and services have gone up significantly. Unfortunately, the poor and middle class are the worst hit.

The government’s repeated claims that such hikes will not affect the common man seem hollow. It is time for policymakers to realize the burden they are putting on citizens and take effective measures to stabilize fuel prices.

I hope this letter will raise awareness and urge the concerned authorities to act.
