Our School

For 8th Class Student 

I study at Government High School Shahdara, Lahore. It is a big and beautiful school. There are thirty classrooms, all of them are airy and clean. Our school also has a large auditorium where more than 1200 people can sit.

There are about 40 teachers in our school who teach almost 15 subjects. All the teachers are kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our principal, Dr. Mahmood Ali, is a very wise and gentle man. He guides both teachers and students on how to use their time wisely.

The teaching methods in our school are modern and helpful. Our teachers do not just ask us to memorize; they help us understand everything clearly. They also encourage us to ask questions. This creates a strong bond of respect between students and teachers.

Our school also has excellent sports facilities. There are two badminton courts, one basketball court, a football ground, and three table tennis tables. We enjoy playing games under the guidance of our sports instructors. We also have P.T. (Physical Training) twice a week.

For science students in 9th and 10th grades, we have three science labs – one each for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. We are excited to use them when we reach those classes because we love doing experiments.

The students of our school take part in many inter-school competitions like debates, art, sports, and speeches. We also have an annual day where we perform in front of our parents and teachers.

I love my school very much. It gives me knowledge, confidence, and beautiful memories that I will always remember.

I am a student of Government High School Shahdara, Lahore, which is one of the most well-reputed educational institutions in our area. The school building is spacious and attractive, with thirty airy and well-maintained classrooms. Our teaching staff consists of about 40 qualified and dedicated teachers who cover almost 15 different subjects. They are kind, approachable, and skilled in their fields. The principal, Dr. Mahmood Ali, is a man of great wisdom and leadership. He regularly advises both teachers and students on how to make the best use of time.

Our school also places great emphasis on physical fitness. We have two badminton courts, a basketball court, a football ground, and three table tennis tables. Under the guidance of experienced sports instructors, we participate in regular P.T. sessions and sports events.

For science students in higher grades, our school has three fully equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. We look forward to using them for practical experiments, which will deepen our understanding of scientific concepts.

Students of our school actively participate in inter-school competitions in academics, arts, sports, and debates. The annual day is a much-anticipated event, where students showcase their talents in front of parents and guests.
