My House

For 8th Class Student

My house is my favorite place in the world. I live in it with my parents, three sisters, and one brother. I am the youngest in the family. Our house is located in the Cantt area of the city. The roads outside are neat and clean.

Our house is built on an area of 10 marlas. It has a big gate and a smaller gate for people to walk in. There is also a car porch, but sometimes we park the car outside if we want to play cricket there.

On the left side of the entrance, there is a small lawn. Our gardener takes care of the plants. They give us fresh air and nice smell all year round.

The house has three storeys. On the ground floor, there are three rooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen. There is also a dining room and a drawing room with windows that open towards the garden. We usually have dinner together here on weekends.

All the rooms are spacious, clean, and bright. The walls are painted off-white inside and are mud-plastered on the outside. Marble and granite tiles are used for flooring.

I love to turn on all the lights, but my parents tell me not to waste electricity. We have a playroom where we enjoy playing games. On Eid and special occasions, all my cousins come and we have fun together.

The top floor has a terrace and a storeroom. We keep old and seasonal items there. My mother keeps the house clean and teaches us to help too. When it rains, we all sit on the balcony, drink tea, and enjoy the view.

I love my house and my family very much.

A house is more than just a building—it is a place of comfort, safety, and love. My house, located in the Cantt area of the city, is my favourite place in the world. The surroundings are peaceful, and the roads outside are neat and clean.

Built on 10 marlas of land, my house has a large main gate for vehicles and a smaller one for people. There is a car porch where we park our car, but sometimes we leave it outside so we can play cricket there. A small lawn to the left of the entrance is filled with seasonal flowers and plants, which our gardener carefully maintains.

The house has three storeys. The ground floor includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining room, and a drawing room with large windows opening into the garden. Our rooms are spacious, bright, and well-ventilated. Inside, the walls are painted in soft off-white, and the floors are covered with marble and granite tiles.

We have a playroom where my siblings and I spend hours enjoying indoor games. During Eid and family gatherings, our house becomes lively with cousins, laughter, and celebrations.

The upper floor has a terrace and a storeroom for extra and seasonal items. From the terrace, we can see the greenery around our neighbourhood. On rainy days, we sit on the balcony, drink tea, and watch the rain.

My house is not just a shelter; it is where my happiest memories are made. It is a place filled with warmth, care, and the love of my family.

A house is more than bricks and mortar; it is a sanctuary where love, comfort, and belonging reside. My house, situated in the serene Cantt area of the city, is not only my home but also a place where my fondest memories are built. The streets outside are clean and orderly, and the atmosphere is peaceful.

Occupying 10 marlas of land, our house has a broad main gate for vehicles and a smaller pedestrian gate. A well-kept car porch stands at the front, and next to it lies a small but beautiful lawn adorned with seasonal flowers and fragrant plants, lovingly tended by our gardener.

Our three-storey home is designed for both beauty and function. The ground floor consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining room, and a drawing room that opens towards the garden. The interior is bright and airy, with off-white painted walls and polished marble and granite flooring.

Family life thrives here. The playroom echoes with the laughter of my siblings, and during festivals such as Eid, our home fills with the voices of relatives and the aroma of special dishes. The terrace on the top floor offers a panoramic view of the neighbourhood and is the perfect place to enjoy tea during the rainy season. A storeroom on the same floor holds seasonal and unused items, keeping the living spaces uncluttered.

My mother’s dedication to keeping the house clean and organised inspires us all to share in the responsibility. To me, my house is not merely a physical space—it is a nurturing environment where love, discipline, and happiness come together. It is, without doubt, my most cherished place in the world.
