 My Classroom

For 8th Class Student 

I am a student of Grade 7. Let me tell you about my classroom. It is on the first floor of our school building. It is a big and comfortable room. My classroom has 15 benches, two fans, two doors, and four windows. It also has a veranda in front of it

We clean and dust our classroom every day. There is a blackboard and a chalk box for the teacher. The teacher has a wooden table and chair. The room is bright and airy. The sunlight coming from the windows makes it look fresh, especially in the winter.

The walls of our classroom are full of colorful charts made by students. These include the solar system, map of Pakistan, birds of Pakistan, human skeleton, and poems of Allama Iqbal. We also see names of great people like Quaid-e-Azam, Nelson Mandela, Carl Sagan, and others.

To keep the room clean, we have two dustbins on both sides. Our chairs have wide arms like desks, where we keep our books and notebooks. The floor is cemented and clean. There is also a water cooler at the back of the room.

The lighting in our classroom is good, even in the evening. Behind the teacher’s chair, there is a steel cupboard to keep important student records and other items.

I love my classroom. It is the place where I learn new things every day with my friends.

My classroom is one of my favorite places in the school, not only because it is where I spend most of my day, but also because it provides a warm and inspiring environment for learning. It is located on the first floor of our school building and is large enough to seat thirty students comfortably.

The room is well-ventilated with four wide windows that allow fresh air and sunlight to enter. In winter, the sunlight makes the room pleasantly warm. Two ceiling fans keep it cool in the summer. The teacher’s desk and chair are placed at the front, beside a large blackboard, while the students’ benches are arranged neatly in rows.

Our classroom is decorated with colorful educational charts prepared by students, such as the solar system, the map of Pakistan, the human skeleton, and famous quotations. Portraits of Quaid-e-Azam, Nelson Mandela, and Allama Iqbal also adorn the walls, reminding us of great ideals.

We keep our classroom neat and tidy. Two dustbins are placed in opposite corners, and our chairs have wide arms for placing books and notebooks. At the back, there is a water cooler for drinking water and a steel cupboard for storing records and teaching materials.

The bright lighting, airy atmosphere, and cheerful surroundings make this room a pleasant place to study. For me, my classroom is more than just a room—it is a space filled with learning, creativity, and friendship.

What sets my classroom apart is its educational and aesthetic decor. The walls display charts on the solar system, anatomy, geography, and literature. Quotations from thinkers such as Quaid-e-Azam, Nelson Mandela, and Allama Iqbal inspire us daily. These visuals make the environment intellectually stimulating as well as visually appealing.

Cleanliness is a priority. Two dustbins are placed strategically, and each student takes responsibility for keeping the room tidy. A water cooler at the back ensures that we stay hydrated, while a steel cupboard behind the teacher’s chair stores academic records and teaching aids.

For me, this classroom is not merely a physical space but a place where curiosity is cultivated and discipline is learned. It is a setting that shapes our minds and prepares us for the challenges beyond school walls.
