For 8th Class Student

There is a famous saying, “Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.” This shows how important it is to wake up early. A morning walk is the best way to start the day.

A morning walk is free and gives us many health benefits. The air is fresh and cool in the morning. The sky is clear, birds are singing, and everything looks peaceful. Morning walk is good for people of all ages. It keeps us healthy, active, and strong. It also helps our digestive system, blood circulation, and muscles. It even makes our skin glow and keeps our mind fresh.

I go for a morning walk every day. I started this habit two years ago. There is a big park about one kilometer away from my home. I go there with my friend. We usually jog to the park. On the way, we greet people who also go for walks.

When we reach the park, we see dew drops on flowers and grass. The smell of the flowers is sweet, and the birds are chirping. This peaceful view makes me feel very happy.

We run two rounds of the park. Some women walk, and children play with a ball. Even elderly people enjoy their walk and talk to each other. After my morning walk, I feel fresh and active. My mind becomes calm and strong. I feel full of energy and ready to face my day.

Morning walk is one of the healthiest habits a person can develop. The proverb “Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise” reminds us of its importance. The early hours of the day are calm, fresh, and filled with natural beauty.

In the morning, the air is pure and cool. The sky appears clear, and the songs of birds create a peaceful atmosphere. A walk at this time refreshes both body and mind. Doctors often recommend morning walks because they improve blood circulation, strengthen muscles, and sharpen mental alertness.

I began my morning walk routine two years ago. Every day, I wake up before sunrise and head to the nearby park with my friend. We jog lightly on the way. In the park, the sight of dew-covered flowers and the fragrance of plants fill us with joy. We complete two rounds of the walking track and do light exercises. People of all ages can be seen—young children playing, middle-aged people jogging, and elderly citizens walking in groups.

This simple habit gives me energy for the entire day, helps me concentrate on my studies, and keeps me in good health. A morning walk truly is a blessing for anyone who values fitness and peace of mind.

The value of a morning walk cannot be overstated. It is not merely a physical activity but a complete tonic for body, mind, and soul. The age-old maxim “Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise” reflects the timeless truth that the early hours of the day are the most rewarding for personal well-being.

At dawn, nature presents its most serene face—the air is crisp and unpolluted, the horizon glows with soft sunlight, and birds announce the new day with cheerful melodies. Walking during this time invigorates the body by stimulating blood circulation, enhancing lung capacity, and awakening every muscle. It also has profound psychological benefits, reducing stress and improving mental clarity.

My own routine begins before sunrise. I make my way to a nearby park, jogging part of the distance. The sight of dew shimmering on grass, the fragrance of fresh flowers, and the cool breeze together create an atmosphere of pure tranquillity. I usually complete two brisk rounds of the track, followed by stretching exercises. The park offers a vibrant cross-section of life: energetic youths jogging, elders sharing light conversation, and children playing games.

By the time I return home, I feel recharged—physically fit, mentally alert, and emotionally balanced. In an age where hectic schedules and digital distractions dominate life, the morning walk remains a simple yet powerful practice for achieving harmony between health and happiness.
