After the Registration process all students of 5^th class by the DG Khan all districts were waiting for their Date Sheet of the Annual examination and their date sheet were announced one month and some days before the commencement of the exam because every year PEC announces its primary class 5^th date sheet one month ago from the examination commencement and after the Date sheet announcement PEC start the roll Number Slips preparation and one week ago from the Examination PEC issue its Roll Number Slips for the 5^th class.

After issuing roll numbers, PEC sends the data to the respective districts for further verification. Once verified, PEC issues the final roll number slips to each district which are then delivered to schools and private candidates. Punjab Examination Commission conducted the annual exam in the month of February. After the Examination Commencement, all candidates were waiting for their result and their wait is finished now PEC is going to announce its result on 31 March 2024.

After scoring the papers, districts supply scoring sheets of all the students of all subjects to PEC. The scoring sheets consist of multiple-choice questions marked by students and open ended questions marked by the examiners. The results are prepared through scanned images of the scoring sheets. PEC prepares results within six weeks and delivers the result gazettes reflecting total score of each student to the districts on 30th March every year.
