Military College of Signals is stipulated to produce engineers capable of developing indigenous technology to meet the growing demands of the new millennium. Admissions in Military College of Signals are processed through National University of Sciences and Technology. Every year wide array of engineering programs are offered to the eligible candidates by MCS.

Admission date and schedule:

Registration for NET (session 2024) will open from May and entry test will be held on June-July.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate must have at least 60% marks in matric and intermediate examination while on the other hand candidate must have to pass the merit criteria of NUST Entry Test that is as follows:

• NUST Entrance Test: 75%
• Intermediate Marks: 15%
• Matriculation Marks: 10%

Entrance Test 2024:

As per Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Regulations, intake criteria for BE Computer Software Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering includes the Combination of Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science/Computer Studies at intermediate level. For these applicants NUST will conduct English, Physics, and Mathematics and Computer Science test. Both the streams i.e (pre-engineering) and FSc (CS) will be eligible for BE Computer Software Engineering, BE Telecommunication Engineering. The NUST entrance test result of both these streams will be considered at par with one another.

The weightage of subjects in the preparation of merit lists is as under:

ENGINEERING

•     Mathematics                                          40%
•     Physics                                                 30%
•     Chemistry or Computer Science              15%
•     English                                                  15%

Registration Forms Online Registration Guide:

• The prospectus of NUST encompassing the details as well as admission forms is available from Askari Commercial Bank, AWT Plaza, Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
• For online registration for admissions candidate have to registered themselves on NUST website.
• After successful registration, candidates have to fee with any branch of HBL. Fee submission will be confirmed through e-mail within 10 days of payment.
• Candidates are required to print their Admit Cards and bring the same to the Test Centre along with original CNIC or a document with Photo ID such as Passport, original Matric / FSc certificate bearing photograph, etc.
