Islamic University admission Criteria 2024

BSc Software Engineering:

Eligibility: HSSC (Mathematics as one of the subject) or equivalents with 50% marks are eligible for this program.

BSc Electronic Engineering

Eligibility: HSSC pre-engineering or equivalent (Physics, Maths, Chemistry/Computer) with minimum 60% marks are eligible to apply.

BSc Mechanical Engineering

Eligibility: HSSC pre-engineering or equivalent with physics, Maths, chemistry/computer science with minimum 60% marks or DAE Mechanical with minimum 60% marks.

Upload the DMC or transcripts from:

1. SSC and HSSC for BS candidates.
2. HSSC and BA/BSc for MA/MSc students.
3. MSc or BS/MA for MS candidates.
4. MS and a personal statement or research proposal with a maximum of two pages.

• Ph.D. applicants only.
• Submit an online application form. It is important to note that once completed. Applications cannot be altered or amended.

Admission Test

Admissions are granted to the candidates on the basis of written test and interview as per details announced by the university. The admission test focuses language skills, subject aptitude and general analytical skills on the pattern of TOEFL, GMAT and SAT. The weight-age for admission test/ interview and previous qualification is given below:

For undergraduate: Academic qualification: 40% and Admission test: 60%

How many marks are required for admission in IIU?

The MS degree or the equivalent (18 years of schooling) English with CGPA 3.0/4.00 or scores of 65% from the Conventional System Annual and 70% marks from the examination for the semester system in which CGPA is not calculated. It is important to note that only applicants with MS in research can apply for admission.
