The primary functions of BISE Rawalpindi consist of the development and implementation of various educational policies along with organization of matric and intermediate annual examinations within its jurisdiction.

The jurisdiction of BISE Rawalpindi consists of four districts including Chakwal, Rawalindi, Attock and Jhelum. Since its establishment, the BISE Rawalpindi board has built a very positive reputation by organizing timely, fair and transparent examination of Matric (9th & 10th) and Intermediate (11th & 12th) classes.

The registration for matric examination 2024 had started during December and the admission form submission process was completed in the month of January. Likewise previous years, thousands of students have again submitted their admission form to the board in order to appear in the annual matric examination.

Just like all other boards in the province of Punjab, the BISE Rawalpindi is also going to organize the matric part 1 and part 2 annual examination in the month of March while the intermediate exams will be held in the month of May.

Once the examination will be completed, the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Rawalpindi will announce the result within next few months and will also distribute degrees among the successful candidates.

According to the announced schedule, the matric annual examination 2024 under the supervision of BISE Rawalpindi board will begun from March but the complete date sheet is yet to be announced by the board.
