The Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has launched the “Magnificent Punjab Internship Program” to provide paid internships to educated youth. This program aims to bridge the gap between education and industry, equipping graduates with essential skills and practical experience for the competitive job market.

The program offers 250 internships with a monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000. It focuses on providing professional exposure and skill-building opportunities in tourism, archaeology, and museum management.

This initiative is designed to empower young graduates and contribute to the development of Punjab’s tourism sector.

A paid internship program has been launched by the Punjab Government for educated youth called the “Magnificent Punjab Internship Program”. To prepare graduates for the competitive job market, this program aims to bridge the gap between education and industry.

A candidate must hold a relevant degree from one of the following fields to be considered for the Punjab Internship Program: Archaeology, History, Anthropology, Architecture, Forensic Science, Civil Engineering, Communication Studies, Cultural Heritage Management, etc.

The last Date for Applications must be submitted by February 5, 2025. Applicants must be between the ages of 21 and 28.

Magnificent Internship Program Details

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the Magnificent Punjab Internship Program:

• Age: 21 to 28 years

• Domicile: Punjab

• Graduation Timeframe: Degrees completed between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2024

• Education Qualification: 16 years of education in relevant fields from HEC-recognized institutions

CM Internship Guidelines and Rules:

The following rules apply to interns

• Using a GPS-enabled mobile app, attendance will be tracked. Failure to comply may result in absence marks or termination.

• A maximum of two leaves per month are allowed (with approval). Excessive leaves will result in deductions from the stipend.

• Disbursement of Stipends: Stipends will be linked to performance and disbursed via banking channels.

• An intern may be assigned to an office or station within their preferred district.

• It is mandatory to follow a formal dress code.

• All internship assignments must be completed on time by interns.

• The confidentiality of official information must be maintained.

• At the end of the internship, all tools and materials must be returned.

• Before leaving their assigned workstation, interns must obtain permission from their supervisors.

• All organizational rules and regulations must be adhered to.
