Shalamar School of Allied Health Sciences Lahore has released information about admissions for the year 2024. Shalamar School of Allied Health Sciences Admission 2024 in DPT & BSc (Hons) is open now. Medical imaging technology (MIT), medical laboratory technology (MLT), optometry and orthoptics, and operating room technology all have 4-year Bachelor of Science (Honors) programs for which applications are now being accepted (OTT). Shalamar Hospital in Lahore, Pakistan, is the site of SSAHS. The Service Shoe Company has been a significant funder of these humanitarian initiatives because of its focus on healthcare. UHS Lahore is the parent institution of Shalamar School of Allied Health Sciences. In 2015, we opened up this research center.

Eligibility Criteria For DPT Program

To be considered for admission to the Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2024, applicants must have earned a grade point average (GPA) of at least 0.6 (on a 1–10 scale) in their prerequisite medical or equivalency coursework, as evaluated by the Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC).

Medical Imaging Technology (MIT):

• Bachelor of Science with B.Sc ( Hons.)
• Eligibility
• F.Sc. in pre-medical studies or its equivalence with a minimum of 50% overall average.
• Discretionary Upper Age Limit
• In Allied Health Sciences, age is not a consideration for enrollment.
• A medical imaging technologist’s career may go anywhere, with opportunities in fields as diverse as radiology, cardiology, nuclear medicine, and corporate applications.

Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT):

• Bachelor of Science with Honors (B.Sc.
• Eligibility
• Minimum of a 50% average in either a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medicine or a Bachelor of Science in a Related Field of Technology or its Equivalence Certificate.
• Age Limit
• In Allied Health Sciences, age is not a consideration for enrollment.
• As educators, administrators, laboratory specialists, and laboratory managers, medical laboratory technologists work in various settings, including hospital and university labs, biotech and food and pharmaceutical companies, and forensic science labs.

Eligibility Criteria in B.Sc Hons Programs

The minimum score required for admission to the BSc honors programs in Medical Imaging Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Optometry & Orthoptics, and Operation Theater Technology in 2024 is 50% in the corresponding F.Sc Pre Medical/F.Sc in relevant technology or equivalent program.

Points To Be Remember

DPT and BSc Hons in MLT, MIT, OTT, and Optometry & Orthoptics, among other Allied Health Sciences programs, do not have an age cap for 2024 entry. If you are a recent graduate from one of the fields listed above in Pakistan, you may be eligible for the BS-17 position the government offers. The laboratories and departments of Shalamar Hospital in Lahore will serve as training grounds for the students. The trust’s library, named after Professor Muhammad Akhtar Khan, will be open to students.
