Pakistan marine academy is an official announcement of admissions 2026-27. All the interested people having an interest in pursuing their career in the zone of maritime are welcome and should apply. 64 seats are offered in two disciplines namely Nautical (Deck) and Marine Engineering. The training offered is of international standard as stipulated in the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the academy is regarded as the developing of competent seafarers to both domestic and international marine economies.

Pakistan Marine Academy (PMA) is the premier national institution responsible for training cadets for the Merchant Navy and marine-related professions. Located in Karachi and operating under the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, PMA offers internationally recognized education and training that meets IMO (International Maritime Organization) standards. The academy provides pre-sea training for Nautical and Engineering Cadets, equipping them with the technical skills, discipline, and knowledge needed to pursue maritime careers both in Pakistan and abroad. With modern facilities, simulator labs, and shipboard training, PMA plays a vital role in producing competent officers for the global shipping industry.

PMA Admission 2025 Online Apply

The Pakistan Marine Academy (PMA) has officially opened admissions for the 2025 intake (Session 2026-27) for young, enthusiastic male candidates aspiring to pursue a career in maritime professions. Applications are invited for 64 seats in the Nautical (Deck) and Marine Engineering branches, both of which follow the International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website www.marineacademy.edu.pk. The application process includes downloading the form, depositing a non-refundable fee of Rs. 4000 in the designated NBP account, and uploading the necessary documents.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for admission to the Pakistan Marine Academy (Session 2026-2027), applicants must meet the following requirements:

General Requirements:

• Nationality: Must be a Pakistani citizen.
• Gender: Male applicants only.
• Marital Status: Unmarried.

Age Limit:

• Maximum 20 years as of 31st December 2025.
• 21 years for candidates from Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, AJK, and ex-FATA.
• Educational Qualifications:
  F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering) or equivalent (O/A Levels with Equivalence Certificate from IBCC).
• Minimum 55% marks in aggregate.
• Students awaiting results may apply with a Hope Certificate.

Appear for Entry Test

The written test will be held on 10th August 2025 in multiple cities across Pakistan. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
