NUMS National University of Medical Sciences

The Act of Parliament of 31 October 2015 established the National University of Medical Sciences as a Federal Public Sector University. Eligibility  Criteria for NUMS Private Medical Colleges Admission

PMC Medical and Dental Undergraduate Education Regulations 2024-23 state that no distinction is made between Pakistani, oversea Pakistani, or foreign students for admission to private colleges. This means that foreign candidates must be equally qualified as local applicants.

• All Pakistanis with valid citizenship (including citizens of AJK or Gilgit Baltistan), can apply for admission to any of the colleges mentioned above on open merit.
• Minimum 60% aggregate marks in FSc Pre-Medical or equivalent with a minimum twelve-year education.
• Passing the MDCAT NUMS with a minimum of 55% mark for admission to the MBBS program or 45% for BDS.
