NED University of Engineering & Technology, one of Pakistan’s most prestigious engineering institutions, has officially announced admissions for the first-year bachelor degree programs for the year 2025. Eligibility for Admission

Sindh Domicile is mandatory except for nominated categories.

Eligibility Based on HSC-I (or equivalent) Results:

Admissions will be on the basis of HSC-I results (or equivalent).

Minimum 57% marks in HSC-I are required for:

• Engineering
• Architecture
• Computer Science

BS programs (non-engineering):

• Minimum 50% in HSC-I.
• Final HSC marks will be verified by October 2025.

Eligibility Based on HSC-II (or equivalent) Completion:

HSC-II must be completed in 2022, 2023, or 2024 with:

• 60% marks (Engineering, Architecture)
• 50% marks (Non-Engineering BS Programs)

For O/A Level or 12th Grade American High School Students:

• Apply based on IBCC equivalence.
• Must meet subject & minimum marks requirements.

For DAE Candidates:

• Diploma in Associate Engineering (DAE) from SBTE.
• Completion in 2022, 2023, or 2024.
• Merit based on Pre-Admission Test.

NED University Admission 2025

NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, has announced admissions for its Bachelor Degree Programs for the academic year 2025. Known for its excellence in engineering education, NEDUET invites applications from students holding Sindh domicile for various disciplines under Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Science (BS), and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch). The university offers a wide range of undergraduate programs including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Systems, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Architecture, and more.

This year, a computer-based pre-admission entry test will be held at the NED Main Campus, and candidates must pass it alongside meeting academic eligibility criteria to secure admission. The application process is entirely online, and the admission portal opened on April 7, 2025. Applicants must have at least 60% marks in HSC-I or equivalent exams to be eligible, with specific requirements depending on the program. For engineering and computer science-related degrees, a minimum of 57% marks in HSC-I is required.

164 self-finance seats are available on All Pakistan basis. Seats for minorities are also reserved.

Entry Test Schedule

The Computer-Based Entry Test will be held at the NED University Main Campus. The date and time of the test will be issued separately and announced on the university’s official website. The entry test is mandatory for all applicants and consists of multiple-choice questions covering relevant subjects based on the applicant’s field of study.
