MBBS or BDS admissions have been initiated by the Azad Govt in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. The Joint Admission Committee JAC has begun with their MBBS, BDS admission 2024. The admissions are only for medical colleges in AJK. To accommodate AJK nationals the seats are reserved to accommodate them.

Azad Government will conduct the State Entry Test. This test is designed to allow students into their first year of their MBBS program.

1. The Candidate must have passed the Intermediate Science (HSSC/F.Sc) examination in Pre Medical Group securing at least 65% (passed F.Sc 2024 in only three science subjects) unadjusted (excluding the marks of Hifz-e- Quran) marks from any board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Pakistan.

OR

1. The candidate must have passed any other examination (eg. A-Level, 12th Grade) from a foreign University or examining body, which includes the following subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics & Maths) & must provide the Certificate of Equivalence from IBCC (Inter-Board Committee of Chairman) Pakistan.
2. In the case of foreign Qualification, subject-wise equivalence by IBCC shall be acceptable.
